Turn Pet-Brand Attention Into a Better Buying Experience

A beautiful store still fails when comparison, trust and fulfillment questions are hard to resolve. We build commerce journeys around confident selection and clear product education.

The short answer

E-commerce strategy and build work for pet-product brands whose store looks fine but doesn't answer the questions buyers actually have before purchase — sizing, ingredients, comparison, subscription terms. It fits brands with real traffic and real product but a conversion rate that undersells both.

Who this is for

  • Pet product brands moving off marketplace-only sales onto a direct storefront
  • Established stores with rising traffic but a stagnant or declining conversion rate
  • Supplement and wellness brands whose product pages need claims-aware structure alongside strong commerce UX
  • Multi-SKU retailers whose collections and navigation make discovery harder instead of easier
  • Brands adding subscription, bundles or wholesale alongside an existing retail storefront

The pressure points

What this work needs to solve

  • Product pages do not answer purchase-critical questions
  • Collections and navigation make discovery harder
  • Campaign traffic lands on generic pages with weak continuity

Recommended scope

Store architecture and merchandising plan
Conversion-focused product page system
Campaign landing pages and bundles
Email capture, analytics and optimization roadmap

How BeyBear helps

Conversion audit

We walk the full buyer path — discovery, comparison, product detail, cart, checkout — and identify exactly where friction or missing information causes drop-off. This gives you a prioritized list instead of a vague sense that 'the site should convert better.'

Product page architecture

We rebuild product pages around the real purchase-critical questions for your category: sizing and breed fit, ingredient sourcing, dosage, compatibility. Pages are structured so the answer sits where the buyer is looking for it, not buried below the fold.

Merchandising and collection structure

We reorganize collections and navigation around how customers actually shop — by need, by pet type, by problem — rather than how the warehouse organizes SKUs internally. That alone often recovers meaningful lost traffic.

Subscription and bundle strategy

For consumable products, we design subscription offers, bundles and cross-sell logic that increase order value and retention without becoming a confusing checkout experience.

Campaign landing page systems

We build reusable landing page templates for paid and email campaigns so traffic from a specific promotion lands somewhere built for that offer, instead of a generic homepage that loses the thread.

Claims-aware content for regulated products

For supplement and health-adjacent products, we structure page copy so factual claims and required disclaimers sit correctly without disrupting the sales narrative, flagging anything that should go to your reviewer.

Typical engagements

Conversion audit

A one-time review of the full purchase path with a prioritized recommendation list, for brands unsure why traffic isn't converting.

Store rebuild

A focused engagement rebuilding architecture, product pages and key conversion points, sized to the scope of the platform and catalog.

Ongoing optimization

Monthly support options for continued testing, seasonal landing pages and merchandising updates as the catalog and campaigns evolve.

Our approach

We start with the audit rather than a redesign, because most stores have a handful of specific friction points, not a wholesale design failure. Once those are prioritized, we sequence fixes by impact and effort — often product page structure and navigation first, since those touch the most traffic — and build within your existing platform whenever it can support what you need. Every recommendation ties back to a measurable event, so you know within weeks whether a change is moving the number that matters.

Relevant experience

Our founder's former FDA and regulated-industry experience is most useful on supplement and wellness storefronts, where product page structure has to carry both a persuasive case and defensible claims language. We are not a substitute for legal or regulatory review, but we know how to structure a page so your reviewer's language holds up without weakening the sale.

Where this fits

  • A treat brand outgrowing Amazon-only sales needs a direct storefront with subscription options before a retail pitch.
  • A retailer's product pages get plenty of traffic from paid ads but a conversion rate well below category norms.
  • A joint supplement brand's product pages read as generic and need restructuring around dosage, sourcing and claims language.
  • A multi-SKU pet brand's collections are organized by internal category rather than by pet type or need, and customers keep bouncing.
  • A brand wants to add a subscribe-and-save option to its best-selling consumable but isn't sure how to structure the offer.
  • A growing store needs reusable landing pages for a busy quarter of email and paid campaigns instead of building one-offs each time.

Questions, answered

Before we begin

Can you improve an existing store?

Yes. We can focus on architecture, content and priority conversion points without forcing a full replatform.

Can you support wholesale materials too?

Yes. Retailer and wholesale kits can be connected to the same product story.

Do we need to replatform to work with you?

Usually not. We build within your existing platform — Shopify, WooCommerce and similar — and only recommend a change when the platform genuinely can't support something you need, like complex subscription logic.

Can you improve conversion without a full redesign?

Yes, and that's often the better path. Many stores need targeted fixes to specific pages and flows rather than a ground-up rebuild, and the audit tells us which situation you're in.

How do you handle supplement or health-product claims on product pages?

We structure the page so claims and disclaimers sit correctly and stay easy to update, and we flag anything that should go to your legal or veterinary reviewer. We do not provide compliance approval ourselves.

Will you write the product copy?

Typically yes, since page structure and copy develop together during the rebuild. We can also work from existing copy your team or a co-packer has already reviewed.

How long does a store rebuild take?

A focused rebuild of architecture and priority pages usually runs four to eight weeks depending on catalog size and platform complexity. Audits move faster and give you a roadmap in advance.
